4 Ways To Wear Your Denim Jacket This Season
Fashion trends come and go but when it comes to versatility and timelessness, the denim jacket remains undefeated.

I don’t judge his obsession because when all else fails, a denim jacket will work for just about every situation that doesn’t require formal wear. It is a proven wardrobe essential that has, and will never go out of style. If it’s been a while since yours has seen daylight, pull it out and try pairing it in new ways you hadn’t considered. Until recently I was sporting this nondescript one from college that I’m pretty sure I got for a “wear a denim jacket” themed activity. It wasn’t the fact that it was inexpensive, but more that it wasn’t well made. There was as much stretch material as there was cotton, and it was starting to pill which denim is not supposed to do. You don’t have to break the bank for a great denim jacket, but investing in a style that feels good, looks good and will last is important. I decided to donate my uninspired version to Goodwill and hunt for a style that better suited me. During a recent trip I was thrilled to find a great fitting denim jacket from All Saints, a store that we don’t have locally. The best part of this purchase is that I don't need to carry a purse because all my essentials have a home in one of the many pockets.
Whether you choose to have a closet full (not recommended) or decide on one style that you love, invest in a denim jacket and wear it often.

Sometimes it should be worn, and worn by itself. The greatest thing about a denim jacket is its versatility. A lightweight shirt/jacket hybrid is an easy layering piece that looks as good as an over-shirt as it does outerwear.

A great way to dress down your look is with a denim jacket. Throw it over your shoulders the next time you wear a long flowing maxi dress, and tie it around your waist when temperatures heat up. Add tennis shoes for a casual weekend vibe.
