Could This Be The Only Workout Equipment You’ll Need This Year?

Brrrn Baby Brrrn! It’s officially time to work off the COVID lbs. Invest in a Brrrn Board and your anxieties around crowded gyms can fade away.

In anticipation of its arrival, Luke prepped me for the Brrrn Board by vowing it would “revolutionize the way we workout at home” during lockdown and beyond. With our apartment gym on an appointment-only schedule we were seeking a minimal noise making, in-home solution for cardio…and one that wouldn’t require bulky equipment.

I still wasn’t convinced that a slippery plastic board was the answer. After being teased about my leggings for about 3 jokes too long, I finally put on the provided Slide Booties and gave it a try. Even though I had watched Luke’s test run, I was surprised by how much of a workout you could get by sliding back and forth on this thing. I also didn’t realize that skating side to side wasn’t the only exercise the board is used for. The on-demand workouts took me through many familiar exercises that incorporated the board in some fashion…and others where you are off of the board completely.

It’s been getting a little bit of use, but the verdict is still out on whether it will become part of either of our regular routines. It definitely works. It had me sweating after about 5 minutes and my legs where like noodles for the next couple of days. Used or not, I like the way it looks against the wall so what is the downside?
